SS’14 is full of tribal graphics, specifically focusing on Asia and the American Southwest. Geometric patterns inspired by both Japanese kimonos and textiles were seen on the catwalk by the likes of Fendi, Dries Van Noten and Alexander McQueen. The American Southwest was also represented by the likes of Valentino, using Native American patterns of bright hues on darker backdrops.
