This unique bracelet using our exclusive Sanada Obi, a tightly handwoven Japanese silk cord with a 400 year old history. The sturdy Obi material was originally used in the 1600's for Kimono belts and for samurai warriors to wrap their sword handles. Created on specialty looms outside of Kyoto, a full length of Obi can take up to one month to complete. All original colors and patterns in deep tones of brown, green and blue are maintained to preserve its unique level of craftsmanship and durability. The Sanada Obi is securely stitched onto vegetable tanned leather and is hand fabricated in San Francisco. Features an adjustable toggle closure to accommodate various wrist sizes. Woven in Japan, made in America.
